Dear Heavenly Father,
Today, as I count the years you have graciously given to me.
I realize that the blessings that have come to me are like the hours and minutes of those years
Too many to number!
In these myriads of minutes there are misspent moments on my part where things could have been better not thought, said or done.
Forgive me for those times.
For those times when my thoughts, words and deeds proved positive
I give you thanks.
Now give me courage to face the unknown days of a new year - enough strength and grace to endure whatever may come.
Bless my goings-out and comings-in, until I am brought before you and my Savior at your side.
